Alpine Chaingang is a family business run by Dave Beattie and his eldest daughter Amy.  Both are avid riders.

Ben, Dave’s son also works for the company in the summer suporting our rides with van and mechanical suppoort.

Dave and Ben live in the Alps and staff each trip.   Amy is currently living in Singapore with her husband and young family.  She manages all the bookings and paperwork.  Amy will be back in the Alps in the next few years.

Dave Beattie

Dave is a very experienced and passionate cyclist. He has been riding and racing his bike since moving to the Alps 20 years ago. Prior to that Dave was an international runner competing for Scotland. Although ‘getting on a bit’ he still managed a top 50 in a recent Etape de Tour. Now he simply enjoys leading the groups and taking riders to the amazing places we visit on our tours.

Amy Dunlop

Amy leads a very active lifestyle, having always taught skiing during the winters and running the cycling tours during the summer. She has now temporarily relocated to singapore and is now dealing with all enquiries and booking from her home office. Having been educated  in France she is bilingual and is very good to have on board.

Ben Beattie 

Ben has real passion for freestyle and park skiing. If he is not teaching skiing during the winter he is off skiing cliffs or riding any fresh powder he can find. His love for thrill seeking started as young as the age of 7 when he joined the local club des sport doing ski jumping. Ben is your main man on the trip and will always be close by for all your needs and is always happy to help.
